What happens when it rains?

The weather can’t spoil your trip as the Jahan is an all weather boat.

Can I cancel or add people to my booking?

Individual bookings are non-refundable. You can add more people, subject to availability, on the day. Please contact us to check availability.

Group bookings numbers are set two weeks in advance of the scheduled trip. The balancing payment is due at the same time.

Exclusive trips should call ahead to add people (numbers are set two weeks in advance of the scheduled trip).

Where can I park?

Arriving by coach or mini bus?

Many coach companies have visited us before and know the routine, but if they are new to us,  ask the company to give us a call-  details will be provided when booking.

Coaches need to arrive about 30 minutes before departure time as we begin boarding 15-20 minutes before the cruise start time.

Arriving by car?

Parking is available in the pay and display car park behind the Maybush Inn which is right beside the boatyard.

Turn right, into their car park before you get to the bottom of the hill. The machine is now card only and is £2 for 3 hours. Postcode: IP12 4QL.

Walk back down the roadway and follow the signs for ‘Boat Trips’. You will pass a light blue wooden building. On a sunny summer afternoon please allow time for parking and let us know if you can’t find a space, we may be able to help. It is possible to drop off passengers who have mobility problems before parking.

We begin boarding 15-20 minutes before your departure time. Our on-board safety briefing happens 5 minutes before your departure time, and no one can board after this time.

Can I bring alcohol?

Alcohol is not sold onboard and not permitted, exclusive trips may enquire.
